QUESTION:

Why does Outlook Express hang up the dial-up connection when I check email?

POSSIBLE SOLUTION(S):

The option to "Hang up after sending and receiving" needs to be disasbled. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Open Outlook Express, click the "Tools" tab at the top and select "Options...".
  1. In Options, click the "Connection" tab and unselect the option for "Hang up after sending and receiving".
  1. Click the "OK" button to save.
